I use a lot of poker abbreviations in my blog, so here is a guide to help some of you.
PF – preflop
PFR – preflop raiser
UTG – under the gun, the player first to act pf.
UTG +1 – the player to the left of UTG. UTG +2 would be the player two to the left of UTG, etc…
CO – cutoff, player to the right of the button
Hijack – the player to the right of the CO
SB, BB – small blind, big blind
OOP – out of position
EP, MP, LP – early position, middle position, late position
HU- heads up
